Vadivelu boasts about getting beaten by gangsters and how the gangsters get famous only after beating him. He is unable to recognise a local goon who whipped him previously because he says that he got such beating for more than thousand time, how will he be able to recognise one such incident (oru edam, rendu edama da adi vangiruken, orayirum idathilada adi vangi thulachiruken naan, epadi da knabakam irukum). This scene is famous for dialog like "naan shock ayiten", "akanumda aganum".
